iPad Air


As the ‘Air’ in the name of Apple’s flagship tablet suggests, the iPad Air has a very lightweight design. Indeed, the tablet is 20% thinner than the previous iPad and weighs just a pound, making it incredibly portable. Despite being unbelievably light, the iPad air has a robust, aluminum body.

Beneath the surface, the iPad Air is powered by Apple’s new A7 chip, complete with 64-bit architecture. This delivers desktop performance in tablet form, making the iPad Air twice as speedy as its predecessor. While the iPad Air is certainly a powerful device, it does not compromise your battery life. Indeed, the iPad Air was designed to be used on the go and as a result it has an excellent battery life of 10 hours.

The iPad Air is running on the latest version of Apple’s operating system, iOS 7. As well as sporting an improved user interface, iOS 7 has a number of new features and tricks, such as improved multitasking capabilities and AirDrop. AirDrop is a new application from Apple that allows you to simply drop photos, videos and more to any iOS 7 users in your vicinity.

As with any Apple product, the iPad Air allows you take advantage of the range of applications and games in the App Store. All Apple iPad applications and games are specifically designed for iPad which means that they are of uncompromised resolution, not simply scaled-up cellphone apps. In addition, the App Store is the world’s most trusted media and application store as all apps are rigorously checked by Apple before they are made available to the public.
